[[https://www.pinterest.com/AdobeBuilder/|Environment]] - Pressed adobe blocks, best known as compressed adobe bricks or Earth blocks, are manufactured employing a combination of modern-day technology and traditional earth building knowledge. Enhanced by making use of hydraulic presses and machine automation, the bricks emerge almost totally dry and prepared for building. Pressed adobes provide significant increases in strength, both in compression and modulus of rupture, providing for quicker and more efficient installation for their uniformity of size and shape. The hydraulic force increases soil density, which boosts the bricks' thermal mass ratings. Pressed adobes can be produced in all seasons as a result of reduced moisture content.
Made by hand, or puddled, adobe bricks begin when a simple mix of earth and water is mixed to some near mud consistency. A combination will then be laid in forms on the ground to mold the mud in to the desired brick configuration. The shape is lifted off of the adobe once the mud dries enough to keep the adobes shape without the form. Following a few days of sunshine, the bricks are placed on edge to dry. The drying process will take from to four weeks to fully cure according to weather conditions. Puddled adobes result in bricks having a more individual shape, size and look; no two bricks are quite the identical. They supply for any unique and pleasing aesthetic when left exposed in a finished wall.
Site made adobe bricks vary widely. For rural sites and the ones with difficult access, site made adobes often perform best for logistics and shipping costs. Beyond Adobe has made bricks from your borderlands of Mexico to the farm country of Montana.
Finished to Fine Perfection

Also, they are non-dusting, mold and fade resistant, and repairable.
